I love eating in cute little places that have a lot of character, Campo restaurant is just that. The food was delicious and the atmosphere inside is comfortable and very welcoming.
The menu is small but not disappointing, plus the portions are generous.
The service is also spot on… not too much in your face (you know what I am talking about) but there when you need them and very friendly too (10/10).
Scroll down to read more about what I tried on the menu and how I fell in love with the dessert (I am usually not a dessert kinda gurl).
I don’t know why but I always order a healthy starter, maybe it’s to compensate for the fact that I turn into a little piggy as the night goes on. This time I tried the salad, it had a lot of vinegar, which I absolutely love. The nuts made it extra delicious but I am wasn’t too sure about the oranges (I developed a love, hate relationship with them). I regret not trying the lobster salad though, I adore sea food, maybe even more than vinegar. That’s a reason to go back, ey?.
After having my main meal, I was convinced that dessert would not be an option for me, until I saw the menu. I cannot put down in words how happy I was to have tried the salted caramel budino, it was dessert heaven for me. The caramel pudding is whipped with cream and crispy peanuts (if you’re allergic to nuts this may not be the best option). I almost considered ordering a second portion, but as the old saying goes, ‘a second on your lips forever on your hips’. Honestly, I was just full, anyone who knows me also knows that I have a lot of hips.
